What a wonderful evening it was! Despite the rain,
@casinocluj was filled with generous people eager to do good. Pop Carmen,
@captureazaclipa.ro, an artist with a big heart and a devoted friend of Yuppi Camp, organized—for the second time—a charity photography exhibition.
🖼 The opening of the exhibition Traces, once again presented by our dear ambassador
@bogdan_bob_radulescu, took place on Monday, January 26, in an atmosphere full of warmth and emotion. More than 100 people attended, many of whom bid on the powerful and deeply moving images captured by Carmen Pop.
🥰 Carmen shares that photography saved her life. How beautiful it is that, through her art, she now wishes to give back and support children. She is no stranger to hardship herself—she underwent multiple surgeries as a child and, later in life, faced a cancer scare.
🤩 The exhibition also featured a special guest: Lukács Balázs, a 15-year-old photography enthusiast and participant in Yuppi Camp programs, who showcased some of his own work.
At the event, we were also honored by the presence of Prof. Univ. Dr. Dorel Găina and Eng. Mircea Albu, emblematic figures in the visual arts, who spoke about the powerful relationship between art and charity.
🎼 A musical surprise was offered by the
@yforchestra, conducted by Vladimir Agachi, who performed iconic pieces such as Shostakovich’s Waltz No. 2 and even invited the audience to hum along to the well-known melody.
❤️ Carmen, Bob, all of you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the incredibly generous gestures and for the meticulous organization of such a special event, together with partners and sponsors!
📌 The exhibition is open until February 15, daily between 10:00 and 20:00. We invite you to visit, view the photographs, and place bids on-site. By doing so, you support children with chronic illnesses in reaching Yuppi Camp, where they can enjoy days free from the worries of illness. 💛
